Taking the “Social” out of Social Network

Mar 18, 2014 | Insights

Some have criticized the evolution of technology and social networks saying we have lost the human interaction in communication (see our previous post). Now we have an app that was created to do just that.

So that ex or whiny friend you don’t want to see, you can now easily avoid.

Introducing, Cloak.

Cloak allows you to link with your Instagram and foursquare (and more networks soon) to see where your friends last checked in so you can ensure your paths don’t cross. Users can even categorize friends so you are alerted when they are in a predefined radius of you.

After many networks encouraged us to connect on so many levels, is this the natural progression of social, to become less social?
